Freshbenies sought a female spokesperson to represent their brand and showcase their products with a strong, playful personality.

TASK

I was asked to art direct and create artwork for Freshbenies' female spokesmodel, Bonnie, holding the app and extending her arm toward the camera/audience. This artwork will be used in the app, website, posters, and flyers. Additionally, Bonnie will be added to the existing models representing different card services Freshbenies offers.

SOLUTION

This character is the marketing hero who showcases the company’s various products and services. She introduces a substantial, independent, authentic role model while retaining the brand’s playful personality.

RESULTS

We successfully created the artwork featuring Bonnie for Freshbenies' promotional materials and brand representation. This artwork highlights Bonnie’s character and aligns well with Freshbenies' branding. She engages with the audience and enhances the marketing efforts.

PROCESS

We outlined the necessary steps with the owners and their marketing team. I collaborated with the design team to integrate Bonnie into the existing models of Freshbenies' card services. Additionally, I worked with an illustrator to develop various concepts for positioning, content, and context. After creating the hero illustration, I presented it to the stakeholders for their review and made adjustments based on their feedback.

IMPACT

“He first looked to understand our business model, vision, and values. Using that information, he provided great design advice, saw around corners to warn us about what would and wouldn’t work, and gave and met realistic timelines – he led us through the creative process. Most importantly, the final product was exactly what we’d hoped for!"
